Alyssa Kitt descends to earth in a sexually charged reimagining of the unbridled ascent and tragic fall of Icarus. Created in collaboration with master Emmy award winning costumier Diego Montoya and Sydney fetishwear artist Dee Designs, Icarus Fallen premiered at Brisbane Powerhouse’s delightfully debauched Wonderland Festival in 2017. The work has since been performed at the Australian Burlesque Festival (2017), Jazida’s illustrious Canberra showcase Decadence and Debauchery (2019), Glitter Supernova’s Naughty Noodle Funhouse (2019), Spellbound Burlesque in Phoenix, Arizona (2020) at the New York Burlesque Festival (2022), and earned Alyssa Kitt a place among the world’s elite when she competed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Miss Exotic World – Queen of Burlesque competition in 2022.
