Born from sleep paralysis, Sex Demon is the fetishistic creature that lurks in the stillness of the dark and one way or another will have its way. A euphemism for deep desires to unleash your inner demon you fear the most. It is the demon that silences you and suppresses you.
This fetishistic, affective neo-burlesque routine plays with the concept of fear - tackling the dark demon of desire and unleashing what is underneath the mask.
Debuted at Sky Sirens "Glory Box" in December 2018, Alyssa Kitt has since performed Sex Demon on the iconic Sydney Hellfire stage, Whoop De Doo Revue and at the Australian Burlesque Festival's Noir Exotique in Melbourne as a cast member of the acclaimed riot grrrl strip club 'Baby Got Back' at Brisbane Powerhouse's Wonderland Festival in 2019.
Sex Demon
With gilded wings, dripping with gold and wax, Alyssa Kitt falls to earth with her sexually charged reimagining of the unbridled ascension and descent of Icarus. Collaborating with master costumier Diego Montoya and Sydney fetishwear artist Dee Designs, Icarus Fallen was debuted at Brisbane Powerhouse's debaucherously delightful Wonderland Festival in 2017.

The Lilac Boudoir is an ornate dreamscape, Alyssa creates an installation of escapism, a playful pas du deux between the voyeur and the exhibitionist.

Siren of the Swamp was selected for the Queen of Burlesque, Miss Exotic World competition at the 2017 Burlesque Hall of Fame. This act has appeared at New York's iconic Duane Park and was toured nationally as Alyssa's headlining act in 2016 for Australian Burlesque Festival.

A tribute act to one of the most opulent stage shows in burlesque’s history The Ziegfeld Follies. Feathers and folly, this act plays on the historical tale of a gloried Ziegfeld girl’s fall from the big stage into those notorious downtown bump and grind clubs of New York City.
Tribute to the Follies was created for Miss Burlesque Australia 2014 and premiered at Brisbane’s famous Tivoli Theatre as a part of the Australian Burlesque Festival in 2014.
Classic burlesque at its best, Alyssa Kitt made her Burlesque Hall of Fame debut at the 2015 Tournament of Tease in Las Vegas with this act.
Tribute to the Follies
The Cherryblossom Tree has been an act with many reincarnations. Originally performed in 2008, this act has been reborn through dream costuming and conceptualization.
This piece is dedicated to Alyssa's mum, Mama Kitt, and tells the story of a Cherryblossom Tree in full bloom, loosing it's petals for the first time. Sombre, soulful, and longing for each petal this piece is a euphemism for the impermanency of female beauty and society's obsession with remaining youthful.

The rising phoenix is Alyssa's signature routine which tells the story of a phoenix that emerges from its ashes and bursts into flames. Incorporating huge phoenix wings, extravagant tulle skirt, lyrical dance and classic bump and grind this routine is spellbinding but requires a large stage to be performed on.

The Ginger Clam
Fearsome, flickering licks of burnt orange feathers, fast latin beats and footwork to set the stage alight. Alyssa Kitt is a renegade salsa vixen - one ruthlessly fiery femme.
An homage to one of the first tassel twirlers and founder of the burlesque hall of fame, Jenny Lee, aka 'The Bazoom Girl'. The show that won Alyssa the titles of Miss Classic and Miss Tassel Twirl at the 2012 Miss Burlesque competition. She has toured this act around Australia, the United States, Canada and New Zealand.
A tribute to red-headed beauties. The ginger clam combines two classic elements of american striptease, the classic fan dance and the bump and grind.
Pure classic burlesque at it's cheekiest. This was a featured act in the Classic burlesque evening at the Americana Burlesque and Sideshow Festival, Asheville, North Carolina, 2012.
